Our Training Philosophy: You Are The Intervention

We hear a lot about somatic counseling today, and it is easy to acquire concepts through online courses. But how often do we get together to practice in a community-based, multicultural model?

Often, the field pressures us to pursue high-cost certification programs that only teach rigid techniques. We believe these are humanistic skills that come directly from you. You are the intervention. In this immersive, we bypass the expensive certification model to train together, identify those innate skills, give them language, and utilize them from a deeply grounded place. Come practice with us.

Beyond Supervision (Cohorts): Somatic Process Group for New and Mid-Career Clinicians (January 2027)

The work of a clinician is profound and deeply taxing. We often carry the stories and trauma of our clients, and without a dedicated space for our own processing, we can become disconnected and overwhelmed. This group is not a traditional supervision model but a unique opportunity to engage in personal, embodied work that complements your clinical practice. By focusing on your own nervous system and physical sensations, you can gain new insights and prevent vicarious trauma from taking hold.

This group is for you if you want to:

  • Process the “Unspoken”: Work through the emotional and physical residue of your clinical work in a safe, confidential space.
  • Embody Your Practice: Use somatic techniques to deepen your self-awareness and become a more present and attuned therapist.
  • Prevent Burnout: Develop a personal toolkit for resilience that goes beyond talk therapy.

(Available as a 1-Day In-Person Immersive in Seattle or a 5-Session Virtual Series).

Relationship Groups: Somatic Process Group for Clinicians and Their Partners (TBA)

Being a therapist changes how you relate to the world—and to the people you love most. This specialized process group offers early clinicians and their significant others a dedicated space to process the realities of the mental health profession.

Through guided somatic practices and community processing, couples will learn how to:

  • Co-Regulate: Transition smoothly from holding space for clients to being present with your partner.

  • Prevent Burnout: Recognize the physical signs of emotional fatigue and vicarious trauma in the home.

  • Deepen Intimacy: Translate clinical boundaries into healthy, supportive relationship boundaries without intellectualizing your connection.

(Available as a 1-Day In-Person Immersive in Seattle or a 3-Session Virtual Series).
